When was US Vietnam Talent International School (UTS) established?

UTS was founded in 2018 and is a member of the Van Lang Education System, which brings nearly 30 years of educational experience. UTS offers a bilingual K–12 education program from Kindergarten to Grade 12. With a mission to nurture every heart and mind, UTS empowers students to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact.

Are English classes taught by international teachers or Vietnamese teachers?

The teaching allocation between international teachers and Vietnamese teachers varies by grade level. On average, international teachers deliver about 80% of the English program, while Vietnamese teachers teach the remaining 20%.

For Primary School and Grade 6, Vietnamese teachers also support students during lessons taught by international teachers, helping those who may need additional guidance in class.

What English certificates can students achieve after each level?

At the end of each academic year, UTS students are well prepared to take international standardized English examinations.

  • After Primary School, students can take the Cambridge A2 Flyers examination.
  • At the Secondary level, students can take Cambridge A2 Key and B1 Preliminary examinations.

UTS also sets clear English proficiency goals for high school graduates:

  • IELTS 7.0 for the Bilingual Pathway
  • IELTS 7.5 for the International Pathway

How does the school support students who plan to study abroad?

After graduating from UTS, students can pursue higher education at universities and colleges around the world. UTS organizes annual university and career guidance workshops, where professional advisors help students explore suitable majors and universities based on their interests and aspirations. Representatives from universities worldwide are also invited to UTS to participate in study abroad seminars.

University admission requirements vary by country and region. Therefore, UTS supports students by integrating internationally recognized assessments such as IELTS into the learning journey. In addition, UTS provides a diverse ecosystem of extracurricular activities that students can participate in beyond the academic curriculum, helping strengthen their university application profiles.

The UTS School Counseling Office plays a key role in providing continuous support, offering personalized guidance on academic pathways, university selection strategies, application preparation, and essential skills so that students can confidently pursue suitable global opportunities.
