“Humans of UTS” Rewind: A love story behind each picture
After a year of launching, “Humans of UTS” – a special project for members of UTS community – has been bringing many lovely stories about the nurturing and developing journey of future talents. It may be Bao Duy – a boy with a big artistic dream, Quy Tran – a little girl with non-limited passion with English or miss Maria with memorable moments at UTS, etc. Behind each picture is an untold lovely story. These sharings may become precious memories and belief for us to complete ourselves and take a further step in the open future ahead. “Humans of UTS” will continuously undertake our mission to be a “story teller” to bring stories, memories or simply lovely moments of our talents at UTS. For UTS-ers, are you ready to share your own stories? The photo contest “UTS – 365 THE GROWTH” is waiting to see for your photos and listen to your stories in the school year 2020 – 2021! UTS-ers “recycling” project: Reduce waste to help increase the “age” of the Earth
3R stands for Reduce – Reuse – Recycle. Applying the 3R method in everyday life will help reduce the big amount of waste discharged into the environment, especially persistent waste. It can help to limit pollution as well as reduce overconsumption. The students in grade 5.1 practice the 3R method through the project “Recycling” in English subject. Using used items, UTS-ers took advantage of and created interesting models such as UTS bus, pen box, hat,… They also show their fluent English and presentation skills to introduce the group’s products. Although this activity is not too new, it is extremely necessary for children to early create awareness of environmental protection, saving resources, and contributing good values to society.

Growing up in the experiential learning trip of UTS-ers
Students from Grade 5 to Grade 12 of US Vietnam Talent International School had just experienced the fascinating experiential learning trip at Cu Chi – Ben Duoc tunnels and Hi-Tech Agricultural Zone – WonderPark. At the Cu Chi – Ben Duoc tunnels, UTS-ers visited the immense network of connecting tunnels which were built during the Vietnam War period. Students also discovered lots of precious historic and cultural values of the nation. At the Hi-Tech Agricultural Zone – WonderPark, UTS-ers learnt about various agricultural plants and practiced planting trees themselves. These trees are meaningful contributions of UTS-ers to the surrounding environment. At the end of this outing trip, students participated in team games and chilling under-water playground. A long day with various experiences was a precious chance for UTS-ers to learn more about good values of the nation and have joyful moments with teachers and their friends.
