“Inherited Traits” Project

The project is part of the International Program, which is an opportunity for Grade 4 students to discover the inheritance of their own and family member’s characteristics in English. Using the clay, UTS students reproduced different versions of offspring from “monster” parents by witnessing and identifying the specialized passed-on traits. From there, they can form a “family tree” with personalized variations and share it with teachers and friends.

“King Of Vietnamese Language” Project

The inter-subject “King of Vietnamese Language” has implemented with the view to nurturing the love and spreading the language’s beauty around. Students have practiced the acquired knowledge and skills to use Vietnamese both in lessons and daily activities. From writing literary works or poems, they can feel the diversity of their mother tongue to fall in love with it more. With all the knowledge shared through the project, UTS-ers have tried their best to win the gameshow “King of Vietnamese language” and participated in plays, sitcoms originated from their own lessons in class.

OIC Decoding – “Teacher, Are Mummies Real?”

Under the instruction of International Program teachers, the “little archeologists” have grasped the information related to the mummies like its “nationality” – Ancient Egypt or its “owner” – The Pharaoh… and accompanied by the “Little Baby Mummy” on the journey to find the Mummy through the book “Where is my mummy?”. Besides, UTS-ers have created their own “mummies” according to their imagination.
